Purpose: The Program Coordinator is a part-time, 30 hour/week administrative position responsible for the oversight and direction of the CNA+, Certified Caregiver and Assisted Living Manager programs including supervision of all clinical, classroom, and skills instructors.

Job Duties:
1. Supervise and evaluate the program on an ongoing basis and share those evaluations with instructors and administrators at monthly staff meetings.
2. Ensure that instructors meet Board qualifications through review of their application, resume, background history, and interviewing process.
3. Determine the necessary ratio for classroom and skills instruction.
4. Ensure that the program meets all the requirements for Article 8 of the Rules of the State Board of Nursing and the NCIA board and federal requirements for clinical facilities.
5. In the absence of an instructor, will fill in as needed.
6. Assist in developing a curriculum that is current and relevant to the needs of CGTI students.
7. Provide direction, supervision, and evaluation to all RN instructors.
8. Oversee instructor evaluations, promotions and disciplinary process.
9. Provide orientation to new students including review of Student Handbook and expectations for classroom, skills and clinical aspects of the program.
10. Review attendance records, exam proficiencies, pass/fail rates, in class participation and involvement, and meet with students to review progress and address areas of concern.
11. Assist in developing strategies for improvement of curriculum/program.

Required Qualifications:
• Hold a Registered Nurse license that is active and in good standing or multi-state privilege to practice as an RN under A.R.S. Title 32, Chapter 15;
• Have at least two years of nursing experience, at least one year of which is in the provision of long-term care facility services;
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, (Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Excel);
• Successful fingerprint clearance and criminal background check.

Skills and Qualifications:
1. Hold a current, registered nurse license that is active and in good standing under ARS, Title 32, Chapter 15;
2. Possess at least two years of nursing experience, at least one of which is in the provision of long-term care facility services.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Arizona Board of Nursing, National Care Institution Administrators and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act compliance requirements and proficiency in video conferencing platforms.

Salary, Benefits, Work Environment:
• The Program Coordinator is a part-time position at 30 hours/week, primarily Monday – Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours.
• The salary is $62,000 – $67,000 based on skills and experience. CGTI offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance provided on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment;
• This position will enjoy 12 paid holidays, prorated per schedule; 126 hours of accrued annual vacation; and 92 hours of accrued sick leave annually;
• There is no minimum service requirement or minimum age to start employee contributions to the PCOA 401(k) Plan;
