Alana’s Art Cart provides custom visual art projects geared toward older adults with special needs in private homes and assisted living care homes. The projects are individualized and adapted to physical and cognitive challenges. Due to Covid-19, in-person visits inside have been temporarily halted. I am exploring using Zoom and, in warm weather, holding programs outdoors. Contact Alana for updates.

Arizona Talking Book Library provides audio and braille book and magazine downloads, audiobooks and magazines on cartridges, books and magazines in braille, movies with audio descriptions, and loans of specialized equipment to play audiobooks. Library materials are sent through postage-free mail. The library also provides access to NFB Newsline with over 500 newspapers and magazines by phone and online. Social Call provides increased opportunities for social connection by carefully matching volunteers and adults 60+, based on shared interests or worldviews, for weekly 30 minute visits. Volunteers and older adult participants create thriving relationships through phone or video visits.
Well Connected is a virtual community that offers phone and online activities that build community through group conversations, games, and education. Available in English and Spanish. Groups are held 365 days a year!
