September is National Falls Prevention Awareness Month. More than 45 states have active falls prevention coalitions. In Arizona, the Southern Chapter of the Arizona Falls Prevention Coalition (SCAFPC) works with these coalitions in their efforts to increase public awareness and educate consumers and professionals about the risks of falls and how to prevent them.
