Access and Accommodations

PCOA is committed to leading the way in making services equitably available and accessible for all in our community, regardless of age, mobility, disability, written and spoken language, or other considerations that might pose a barrier to service.

PCOA offers services in person, via telephone or email, and through the use of remote technology, such as video conferencing. Most of our services can be accessed through several of these methods. PCOA’s facilities at 8467 E Broadway Blvd and 600 S Country Club Rd are accessible in accordance with ADA Accessibility Standards and common areas include hearing loops for those using T coil hearing devices. Most of PCOA’s services are offered in English and in Spanish, with translation for other languages including ASL available with advance notice.

Our printed materials are designed with typefaces and colors older adults with normal vision changes related to aging can read, and our website, pcoa.org includes accessibility features that allow enlarging, changing of typeface and color inversion, among other features. The website is easily translatable into dozens of languages.
