Long-Term Care Ombudsman

Need help with a long-term care facility dispute?

PCOA’s highly trained staff and volunteer Ombudsmen have the ability to visit assisted living and nursing home residents in Pima County to advocate for your rights.

Our Ombudsmen provide routine visits to long-term care facilities to talk to residents and to monitor the conditions of each facility, providing a safe and confidential way for long-term care residents to voice complaints and concerns. The Long-Term Ombudsman program provides posters with our contact information in English and Spanish, which are required to be posted in every long-term care facility in Pima County. Printed information about the program and a Bill of Rights for Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Facilities are distributed in facilities in both English and Spanish.

Please contact 520-790-7262 or email LTCO@pcoa.org to get in contact with one of PCOA’s Ombudsmen.
