We are deeply saddened by the passing of Congressman Raúl Grijalva, a true champion for older adults and a longtime friend of PCOA. His advocacy wasn’t just about policy—it was personal. When the stove at the El Pueblo Neighborhood Community Lunch Program broke, he made sure it was replaced so meals could continue for those who needed them most. That was just one example of his deep dedication to the people he served. Whether fighting for critical funding, meeting with us in D.C., or championing policies that support older adults, he always put his constituents first.
