The Goal of Visibility Matters: Dementia Edition
To help our community’s service providers ensure that older LGBT adults living with dementia receive aging related care services that are welcoming, respectful, and safe for them.
What does the training include?
A training to help service providers become more informed, sensitive to, and supportive of the needs of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender older adults and their families. The dementia edition is an excellent training for long term care facilities, medical professionals, in-home care providers, case managers, or anyone working with people living with dementia related illnesses.
