Arizona Charitable Tax Credit

Give Local. Keep Local.

Join more than 100,000 Southern Arizona tax payers and donate to a Qualified Charitable Tax Credit Organization, like Pima Council on Aging.

The money you would otherwise pay in taxes will benefit older adults and their families in Pima County. That’s right! What you normally pay in Arizona taxes can go to help people right here in your community.

Couples who file jointly can reduce their state taxes by up to $938; individuals can claim up to $470. You don’t have to itemize to participate and you can give to each of the tax credits (including your local school!).

Even More Good News!

PCOA is a qualifying AZ Tax Credit Organization. For 2024 donations, AZ taxpayers can claim a credit up to $470 (individuals) and $938 (households). Note that donations can be made up to April 15, 2024, and still be claimed as a credit on your 2023 Arizona state tax return, up to the 2023 limits, $421 (individuals) and $841 (households).
