The Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center (ARC) is an award-winning facility that offers a unique experience for all. The outdoor, covered Recreation Pool provides a variety of fitness classes, lap swimming, and open swim times to enjoy the walking channel and play features in the zero-depth area. The indoor, warm water Therapy Pool provides individuals with disabilities an opportunity to experience benefits, including increased range of motion and flexibility, relief of pain due to arthritis or other conditions, and overall relaxation. the program brings together older adults and volunteers
of all ages to share experiences, stories, and laughter
through friendly conversation.
Beyond building meaningful connections, program staff provide
the following services to participants:
• Daily cost-free calls, 365 days a year
• Safety and wellness checks
• Access to resources and education
• Referrals to Eskaton’s social worker
• On-call chaplain for spiritual support
• Access to support groups
