The Aging Mastery Program® offers a comprehensive approach to aging well. The program combines classes with expert speakers, group discussions, and goal setting to help older adults gain new skills to make small, meaningful life changes. PCOA offers the program under license with the National Council on Aging (NCOA), which developed the curriculum to provide a roadmap for aging.
The Aging Mastery Program® offers ten sessions that explore the following:
• Navigating Longer Lives
• Exercise and You
• Sleep
• Healthy Eating and Hydration
• Financial Fitness
• Advance Planning
• Healthy Relationships
• Medication Management
• Fall Prevention
The Aging Mastery Program (AMP) will offer the fall 10-week session beginning Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 1:30 – 3:00 pm. The classes will be in-person at The Katie Dusenberry Healthy Aging Center, 600 Country Club Rd. Class dates are Sept. 12, 19, 26, Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, 2023. The early Bird Registration fee is $89 per person if registered and paid by Tues., August 29, 2023. After August 29, the cost is $99 per person. Registration and Fee (payable in advance) by Tuesday, August 29, 2023. (No refunds after Tues., August 29, 2023.

Longtime journalist, Nancy Montoya is offering professional audio and video services to those over 60 years of age to record a memoir with audio only for to include video and still as well.

After a long career of broadcast journalism (50-years), at age 70, Nancy is now retired from the University of Arizona. She worked in University Communications and as the Border/Immigration Reporter for NPR and PBS at ( http://www.AZPM.org ) in Search, enter Nancy Montoya).

Nancy and Kirt (her husband, also a journalist) have opened a podcasting studio for area nonprofit organizations called, "The Storytelling Group". Individuals can come to the studio or record in the comfort of their own homes.

* $100 per hour in a professional studio (one hour is usually sufficient for a "Story of my Life". Client walks away with an exact audio recording on a thumb drive, or can
be downloaded at $5 per download.
* $50 per hour for professional editing. Edit out all mistakes to make the interview flow better and to also work with the client if they want any part of the recording to
be eliminated.
*. $100 per hour for in-depth professional editing that includes music/home video/still pictures.

Please note - we are a family-owned company (have applied for nonprofit 501(C)3 status. Nancy has decades of experience making people feel comfortable infant of the camera or microphone. She will carefully guide individuals as they tell their stories.

The Marana Senior Program offers various services and recreation opportunities for active adults ages 50 plus. Member benefits include easy registration to Parks and Recreation Programs, including Senior-specific offerings such as day trips and Bunco.
