Inspirations of River Centre is an assisted living community that provides everything from planned activities to social events, 24/7 help. Our amenities include 2-bedroom apartments, rooms wired with cable, we have arts and crafts areas, a bistro dining area, a book discussion club, common areas with TVs, a cooking club, and more.

Inspiration of River Centre also provides short-term stays. Short-term stays give you the option to explore our community before deciding to move in or respite care for caregivers.

Interfaith Community Services is part of The Neighbors Care Alliance (NCA). NCA is a network of neighborhood volunteer programs with a shared mission of helping older adults thrive safely in their homes for as long as possible. The programs serve specific geographic areas; each is independently organized. Pima Council on Aging serves as the program administrator and provides tools to build infrastructure, volunteer training, opportunities for networking and access to community resources, and mileage reimbursement. Volunteers support older adults through various services, including transportation to medical appointments and shopping, errands, meal delivery, phone calls and visits, lighthouse and yard work, and caregiver respite. Neighbors connecting to neighbors reduces the social isolation many older adults face while helping to meet everyday needs.

The NCA welcomes all interested volunteers and neighborhood programs to the network. Through participation in the Alliance, your neighborhood program will build a vast network of resources and support building a safety net for older adults.

The Good Neighbor Get Together program is designed to renew a weary caregiver by providing respite, the “temporary relief for a family caregiver from the ongoing responsibility of caring for an individual of any age with early to mid-stage dementia.” You, the family caregiver, can take a short pause from your caregiving tasks. At the same time, your loved one is cared for in a safe, joyful, and meaningful setting. For the care receiver, the Get Together is an activity event, a party, prepared just for them.

It is held on the 3rd Thursday of every month at:

from 1-3:30. It is a setting where Care Team volunteers provide a loving, welcoming, and fun environment for care receivers who do not require skilled care. The program is free of charge but does require pre-screening.
