These offer low-cost and free services for people who typically need to meet certain criteria to qualify.

Pima County operates a Home Repair Program for low-income homeowners who live in unincorporated Pima County, Sahuarita, Oro Valley, and South Tucson. You must have lived in the home for at least one year and meet income eligibility requirements. Repairs include weatherization, roofing, home safety and accessibility, heating and cooling, and septic. Home cannot be within the limits of the City of Tucson.

The Southside Worker Center supports a community of worker-leaders building collective power and raising the standards of worker conditions so that members can take part in dignified work and earn just wages. We employ both male and female workers at the center.
Pricing varies depending on the demands of each job and the expertise of the member.
Final expense for each job is to be negotiated with the worker.
There are 3 ways to hire a member of the Southside Worker Center.
1. You can hire a worker online by filling out the form on the right and someone will contact you.
2. You can also hire a worker in person at 317 W. 23rd St Monday-Friday from 6am to 10am. Pull directly into the west parking lot and speak to the Coordinator on duty.

Marana’s Housing Rehabilitation program offers low-income homeowners minor home repair and disability modification assistance. The program repairs and replaces roofs, water heaters, evaporative coolers and can increase handicapped accessibility to ensure a safe home environment.
A few of the qualifications for the Program are you must own and live in your home for a minimum of 12 months before applying. The residence must be located within the Town of Marana incorporated limits. Your income must not exceed the limits listed below. (Income from all persons residing in the home must be included). This program is for conventional homes and manufactured homes built after 1976 affixed to the occupying owner’s property via the Pima County Recorder.
