Established in 1983, the Brain Injury Alliance of Arizona (BIAAZ) is the only statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of adults and children with all types of brain injuries through prevention, advocacy, awareness, and education. We also house the Arizona Brain Health Resource Center, a collection of educational, informational, and neuro-specific resources for brain injury survivors, caregivers, family members, and professionals.

Enhance Fitness is an evidence-based program with years of research backing it, which means it is specifically proven to improve strength and balance, increase flexibility, boost activity levels, improve mood, and help prevent falls.
Enhance Fitness is developed specifically for older adults, with exercises focusing on four key areas important to your health and fitness. Stretching and flexibility, low-impact aerobics, strength training, and balance. You can join us no matter what your level of fitness is now, and we offer seated and standing exercise options.

the program brings together older adults and volunteers
of all ages to share experiences, stories, and laughter
through friendly conversation.
Beyond building meaningful connections, program staff provide
the following services to participants:
• Daily cost-free calls, 365 days a year
• Safety and wellness checks
• Access to resources and education
• Referrals to Eskaton’s social worker
• On-call chaplain for spiritual support
• Access to support groups

Adventure Bus is an outreach program for high functioning people with early to middle stages of memory loss. The program is held semi-weekly with an on-campus cultural program and a bus trip. The program offers socialization, education, stimulating activities, and visits to local places of interest, while caregivers may have respite.
