Valley Assistance Services provides multiple community health and social services programs, which include:
- Going Home with Care, a post-hospital discharge program
- A Touch That Cares (R), RN Medical Advocacy for seniors
- SHiM (R), (Safety and Health in Motion), a fall prevention program
- Neighbors Helping Neighbors in Green Valley/Sahuarita and Tubac Regional Neighbors Helping Neighbors, a transportation and socialization program
- MAP (Map-a-Plan), a rent and utility assistance program
- Workforce Training/Career Path Building and Computer Lab
- Neighbors AIM (Awareness in Memory Loss), classes, and peer-support groups
- connect with, friendly phone calls to seniors
- SASS (Social and Support for Seniors), peer-group socialization
- SNAP (food stamps) application

Well Connected and Well Connected Español bring older adults (60+) together to explore, learn, and share experiences by phone or online. Participants and volunteer facilitators build meaningful connections with others through hundreds of virtual classes, activities, conversations, games, and support groups available 365 days a year.

PCOA and various dedicated community partners provide meals served at lunch sites to older adults who are 60 and older. In addition to meals, the center may offer recreational, educational, and healthy living programs. You must register in advance to attend. Call the center manager for more information or to register. You may also visit the individual location website for information regarding all services available.
