Though there are many private pay options, non-profit organizations and businesses can offer counseling and mental health services at low to no cost, as well. You can participate in counseling and mental health opportunities in a variety of ways including calling a crisis line, attending a support group, or participating in individual and/or family counseling.

SonderCare BHS is a fee-for-service adult outpatient clinic. Outpatient programs for behavioral health services are provided in a clinic setting. A wide range of services is scheduled and organized with a comprehensive therapeutic environment that includes screening and assessment, individual counseling as needed, group counseling sessions, educational programming, member advocacy, and participation in community resources. Our programs are designed to enhance current skills by assisting with training and development.
Our adult outpatient programs are coordinated and facilitated by experienced mental health professionals. Behavioral Health Technicians provide program curriculums. Our outpatient mental health group programs are organized within a comprehensive therapeutic environment with trauma-informed care resources. Clients are provided group and individual sessions, community involvement, volunteer opportunities, and induvial counseling as needed.
Participants in the Outpatient Program are adults 18-99 years of age. All individuals meeting admissions criteria receive services. Members who wish to return for additional services may do so as long as they meet admission criteria.
The overall goal of our Outpatient Program is to increase the quality of life for our members through the provision of mental health services.

Substance Abuse Evaluation -The assessment identifies presenting issues, substance abuse history, co-occurring disorders, medical conditions and history, legal history, criminal justice record, family history, and behavioral health treatment history.
Individual Counseling - Staff will utilize skills to assist the individual in achieving treatment objectives through the exploration of alcohol and other drug problems and/or addiction and their ramifications, including an examination of attitudes and feelings, consideration of alternative solutions and decision making and/ or discussing didactic materials concerning alcohol and other related drug problems.
Group Counseling - Staff will utilize special skills to assist client’s in achieving treatment objectives. The group sessions can consist of lectures, viewing a video, or structured discussion sessions.

The Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault (SACASA) provides crisis services, advocacy, support, therapy, and education for individuals and families impacted by sexual trauma. SACASA provides a safe place for survivors to heal, gain strength, learn coping skills, and develop trusting, caring relationships. SACASA offers 24/7 telephone support through its sexual assault Crisis Hotline (520-202-7273). SACASA also offers 24/7 in-person hospital advocacy, care coordination, and medical forensic exams following an assault. Ongoing advocacy and individual, couples, and group therapy are available at no cost.
