Beyond the a thrift stores, St. Vincent de Paul offers additional assistance. Through home visits, they assess the needs of an individual or family and then strive to provide for those needs and to respect the dignity of everyone. They offer both emotional and material support for the needs they encounter.

This can include: rent and utility assistance; helping to ensure that there is food to eat and clothing to wear; providing furniture, mattresses, appliances like a refrigerator to keep food fresh, or a stove to cook a meal; and evaluate and meet the varied needs of a diverse population of men, women, and families.

Sterwyn Financial assists adult children and caregivers by providing structure, visibility, and ongoing oversight of a loved one’s financial affairs.

Services are provided privately, in the home or remotely, and are offered on a private-pay basis.

$495 covers assistance with family budgeting and planning to assist them in obtaining either a rental or mortgage. We will also offer credit education, starting with what the credit bureaus view as risky. We teach them to get out of the "risky" box and onto the right path. We hold their hand through the process from beginning to end.
