Emergency Rent & Mortgage Assistance
Those who offer rent and mortgage assistance may also be available to obtain clothing, hygiene items, gasoline, bus passes, and food vouchers. To receive assistance at these agencies, you must first call for an appointment. Walk-in appointments are not available.

If you are facing an eviction and have received a notice from your landlord, We may be able to help. You may be entitled to Free legal services. Pima County's Emergency Eviction Legal Services Program (EELS can ensure you know your rights and be your advocate.
Who Is Eligible?
Navigation services are available to all tenants or landlords involved in eviction cases in Pima County. If you are a tenant and your income is below 80% of the area median income, you also qualify for access to an attorney for free.

ICS offers emergency utility assistance through the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). This program can pay for the current or past month’s utility bills. You may only receive assistance once per year. Requests for emergency financial assistance can now be made through phone requests at (520) 297-6049 or at www.icstucson.org under the GET HELP tab. Requests are taken until appointment slots are filled.

Through home visits, they assess the needs of an individual or family and then strive to provide for those needs and to respect the dignity of everyone. This can include: rent and utility assistance; helping to ensure that there is food to eat and clothing to wear; providing furniture, mattresses, appliances like a refrigerator to keep food fresh, or a stove to cook a meal; and evaluate and meet the varied needs of a diverse population of men, women, and families.
