We bring the spirit of gratitude to the community in the form of gratitude groups. We train teen volunteers to help facilitate the groups and travel to organizations. We are currently focused on the elderly, independent and assisted living residences, and organizations that involve the aging population. Our mission is to combat the negativity in the community and in our own minds by taking a moment to express gratitude.

The Learning Curve

The Learning Curve was founded in 2002 and offers a wide selection of arts and humanities classes. Topics include art history, music, literature, history, anthropology, writing, and more. Classes are taught by scholars from the University of Arizona, those from other universities, and others who are experts in their field. All classes are currently offered virtually through on-demand video presentations. Participants will need a computer and high-speed internet service.

The Marana Senior Program offers various services and recreation opportunities for active adults ages 50 plus. Member benefits include easy registration to Parks and Recreation Programs, including Senior-specific offerings such as day trips and Bunco. Membership provides exercise classes, a fitness center, table games, arts and crafts, social settings and parties, etc. The Marana Senior Program works with outside entities such as the Northwest Fire Department, Marana Food Bank, and Medicare representatives to provide information to Members.
