Transportation
Various programs offer different forms of transportation and often require advanced notice for a ride. Volunteer transportation groups typically provide rides that are customized to the passenger. Transportation for people with disabilities use door-to-door service by utilizing mini-buses or vans. To learn more about ADA transportation resources, call (520) 791-5409. Public transportation has reduced fare/rates for older adults and people who are low-income.

Sun Van provides ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) paratransit service to individuals who, because of their disability, are unable to ride on the fixed-route bus system in Tucson (Sun Tran). Individuals who qualify to ride on Sun Van may book trips one to seven days before their desired trip.

If you have purchased or are purchasing a pass on your Sun GO card, the key will activate once fares return. If your Sun GO card has expired, call (520) 792-9222 and ask to speak to a Sun GO technician.
