PCOA family caregiver support groups are open to anyone providing care for a person 60 and older, or for someone who has Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia of any age. There is no charge. Preregistration is required; please call (520) 305-3405.

The American Parkinson's Disease Association (APDA) is the largest grassroots network dedicated to fighting Parkinson's disease (PD) and works tirelessly to help the approximately one million with PD in the United States live life to the fullest in the face of this chronic neurological disorder. Founded in 1961, APDA has raised and invested over $252 million to provide outstanding patient services and educational programs, elevate public awareness about the disease, and support research designed to unlock the mysteries of PD and ultimately end this disease.

Support groups provide safe, welcoming, and confidential settings for you to share your experiences and emotions, as well as your questions and wisdom. You can learn and practice managing stress as you connect with others. PCOA provides monthly support groups in various Pima County locations. Support groups are open to any adult providing care for someone 60 and older or someone of any age with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia.
