Community Lunch Program
Have lunch and make a friend!
Our community lunch program is a source of healthy meals for older adults and provide opportunities for social engagement, learning, and volunteering.
PCOA is proud to partner with the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, City of Tucson, La Posada, and Chicanos Por La Causa to provide 6 Community Lunch Sites in metro Tucson and Green Valley.
These programs offer social activities that vary by location and provide nutritious meals for people 60 and older (and spouse, regardless of their age). Social activities vary by location and may include exercise, games, crafts, educational presentations on health, nutrition, etc.
A suggested donation of $2-$3 per meal and $8 per meal for guests not eligible for the program. Pre-registration is required and please call in advance for mealtimes, to reserve a meal and for days and hours of operations.
