IDEA! Behaviors & Alzheimer’s (In-person, GV)

Designed to help family members who are seeing dementia-related changes in behaviors that may be difficult to understand.

IDEA! is an evidenced-informed intervention developed and evaluated by Alzheimer’s Los Angeles. It is designed to equip family caregivers with practical knowledge and strategies for recognizing and responding to challenging dementia-related behaviors. This simple 3-step strategy aims to explore and understand why behaviors happen, their meanings, and practical tips to respond.

  • Projects within Dementia Capable Southern Arizona are supported by the Administration for Community Living (ACL), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of a financial assistance award totaling $999,996.00. Funding includes support from ACL/HHS as well as varying contributions from non-government sources.
