Transportation
Various programs offer different forms of transportation and often require advanced notice for a ride. Volunteer transportation groups typically provide rides that are customized to the passenger. Transportation for people with disabilities use door-to-door service by utilizing mini-buses or vans. To learn more about ADA transportation resources, call (520) 791-5409. Public transportation has reduced fare/rates for older adults and people who are low-income.

TSA Cares is a helpline that provides travelers with disabilities, medical conditions, and other particular circumstances additional assistance during the security screening process. Call 72-hours before traveling with questions about screening policies, procedures, and what to expect at the security checkpoint. Travelers requiring special accommodations or concerned about the security screening process at the airport may ask a TSA officer or supervisor for a passenger support specialist who can provide on-the-spot assistance. If you are a caregiver who anticipates having to fly with a care recipient who has dementia, severe hearing loss, aphasia, behavioral problems, or any other issue that may disrupt the screening process, call TSA Cares to make arrangements for individual assistance.
