description
The Southern Arizona Gender Alliance (SAGA) is a nonprofit located in the unceded territory of the Tohono O'odham and Yaqui. Founded in 1998, SAGA has undergone many transformations as our Trans and Gender Nonconforming (TGNC) community's needs are ever-changing. Our mission is to uplift gender euphoria and TGNC BIPOC artists, and our vision is to nurture Southern Arizona to be the most trans-affirming region in the US by 2050. We carry out our mission by providing Arizona Trans Workplace (ATWork) training; Trans Care Packages; 5 monthly support groups (General Meeting, Desert Sisters, Gender Outlaws, Desert Boys, and Families Transformed); TrOutings (Trans-Outings: community building events); medical and therapist recommendations; and legal assistance primarily about the name and gender marker change. We work towards our vision by holding firm to our abolitionist values and gratitude and pursuit for Black, TGNC, and Disabled folk's liberation!

description
Our vision is to eliminate all forms of illegal discrimination related to housing. We do this through education (free classes) and enforcement. We offer free help to everyone who is experiencing unlawful housing discrimination. SWFHC advocates for and facilitates the enforcement of the Federal and State Fair Housing Acts and the Non-discriminatory Ordinances of different Arizonan municipalities. Free, remote classes are offered online so everyone can learn about their rights and responsibilities in fair housing. Can I have my emotional support animal, a monkey, in my apartment? Can they have a policy stating we don't rent to felons? These and many more get answered in our free online, real-time classes.
