Transportation
Various programs offer different forms of transportation and often require advanced notice for a ride. Volunteer transportation groups typically provide rides that are customized to the passenger. Transportation for people with disabilities use door-to-door service by utilizing mini-buses or vans. To learn more about ADA transportation resources, call (520) 791-5409. Public transportation has reduced fare/rates for older adults and people who are low-income.

Valley Assistance Services provides multiple community health and social services programs, which include:
- Going Home with Care, a post-hospital discharge program
- A Touch That Cares (R), RN Medical Advocacy for seniors
- SHiM (R), (Safety and Health in Motion), a fall prevention program
- Neighbors Helping Neighbors in Green Valley/Sahuarita and Tubac Regional Neighbors Helping Neighbors, a transportation and socialization program
- MAP (Map-a-Plan), a rent and utility assistance program
- Workforce Training/Career Path Building and Computer Lab
- Neighbors AIM (Awareness in Memory Loss), classes, and peer-support groups
