Transportation

Various programs offer different forms of transportation and often require advanced notice for a ride. Volunteer transportation groups typically provide rides that are customized to the passenger. Transportation for people with disabilities use door-to-door service by utilizing mini-buses or vans. To learn more about ADA transportation resources, call (520) 791-5409. Public transportation has reduced fare/rates for older adults and people who are low-income.

Many of our services are provided by volunteers, emphasizing hope and dignity for the individual. Confidentiality is of extreme importance. While helping the community, we encourage self-sufficiency through assistance and education. Services are provided free of charge. The exception is clothing and linens from our on-site Thrift Store. Most items are priced at $.50/each.

Individual & Family Counseling for Family Members of All Ages
Evidence-based counseling is offered to children, families, and adults. All services are designed to meet the individual and family's needs, ensuring that members receive quality care. Trained clinicians focus on strengths to support members and families through life transitions, behavioral concerns, and behavioral health and substance abuse challenge Play-based therapy is utilized for young children.
Aviva Children's Services offers behavioral health services to children currently in foster care.

Community, Outreach, Resource, and Education program: CORE.
A short-term program focuses on assisting foster families in connecting with services and resources in the community. CORE also provides in-home support and guidance on navigating the Department of Child Safety, behavioral health, and educational systems. The CORE is child and family-focused to help stabilize the child and family unit.

Nineteen community-based, licensed group, residential homes for adults and children with moderate to severe intellectual and physical disabilities throughout the Tucson area where adults and children (ages 12 to 80) receive individualized person-centered support and treatment strategies to ensure each person served can live, work and play in their community. Designed by the member and their team, service plans are developed based on the needs and desires of the member and their family/guardian when appropriate. Services include habilitation, room and board, and transportation. Supervision and support by trained direct support professionals are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Envoy America provides door-to-door, 24/7, non-emergency transportation in Tucson. They provide round-trip transportation to church, shopping, medical appointments, and any local destination. They will help with shopping and wait at medical appointments. They can provide multiple stops per ride. Ambulatory only.
