Our registered nurse is certified in wound, ostomy, continence, and foot care with many years of experience. All instruments are sterilized and individually packaged, and surfaces have high-level disinfectants. Provides foot care to in-home and in facilities to private pay patients. Medicare does not cover routine foot care which often complements Podiatric care. RN foot care does not include cosmetic nail care. Still, it will remove nail polish, including trimming, thinning, smoothing, sanding thick, misshapen toenails, foot callus, and making referrals for advanced provider care. Fungal/thick and overgrown toenails are a specialty covered routinely.
