The Drawing Studio

We are a non-profit arts community. Driven to provide low-cost, & in some places free, skill-based & technique developing art practice courses. While utilizing community building, these courses center individuals to foster a sense of wellness & healthy contributions to self & any collective through cultivating art practice. Our community has specific programs, like ArtMoves, to provide particular programs to folks who are disabled, elderly, or with significant challenges in life.

The Marana Senior Program offers various services and recreation opportunities for active adults ages 50 plus. Member benefits include easy registration to Parks and Recreation Programs, including Senior-specific offerings such as day trips and Bunco. Membership provides exercise classes, a fitness center, table games, arts and crafts, social settings and parties, etc. The Marana Senior Program works with outside entities such as the Northwest Fire Department, Marana Food Bank, and Medicare representatives to provide information to Members.

PCOA and various dedicated community partners provide meals served at lunch sites to older adults 60 and older. In addition to meals, the center offers recreational, educational, and healthy living programs and computers that the public can use to access the Internet for job searches. You must register in advance to attend. Call the center staff for more information or to register.
