PCOA provides healthy living classes and workshops that include Enhanced Fitness, A Matter of Balance, both fall prevention programs. Balance, Healthy Living with O ongoing Health Conditions, Healthy Living with Diabetes, and Healthy Living with Chronic Pain.

Enhanced Fitness is a one-hour exercise class held three times a week at various community locations. The course focuses on increasing your strength, endurance, balance, and flexibility.

A Matter of Balance class teaches environmental and behavioral changes that reduce your risk of falling in eight two-hour sessions.

Healthy Living with Ongoing Health Conditions consists of six two-and-half-hour workshops that teach practical skills to help you manage the daily challenges of living with chronic health conditions.

Healthy Living with Diabetes consists of six two-and-half-hour workshops that teach techniques to assist individuals and their caregivers living with type two diabetes.

Healthy Living with Chronic Pain consists of six two-and-half workshops that provide information, tips, and techniques to manage primary and secondary chronic pain.

We offer Group and Private classes to address a variety of limitations and disabilities. Sessions are held in a saltwater pool that is 91 degrees and ranges in depth from 3 – 5.5 feet. This program is the only activity at the pool during scheduled classes. The maximum group class size is 8. This is a private pay service. We do not accept insurance.
