VA VOLUNTEER VISITOR PROGRAM

Reduce Isolation and Loneliness - Program provides quality social interaction for housebound and isolated SAVAHCS Veteran patients with in-person, in-home volunteer visitors. Also, provide a break for a Veteran's caregiver when appropriate. Program serves Veterans enrolled in SAVAHCS healthcare. SAVAHCS patients who would like a visitor should ask VA clinician submit a consult. Volunteers interested in being a VA Volunteer Visitor should contact SAVAHCS CDCE Office at number listed.

Participants and volunteer facilitators build meaningful connections with others through hundreds of virtual classes, activities, conversations, games, and support groups available 365 days a year.
