Direct Advocacy & Resource Center (Direct) is a private, nonprofit organization operated by and for people with disabilities. Direct is part of a national Centers for Independent Living (CILs) network that supports individuals in pursuing their goals and advocates for disability rights and justice. Individuals can build skills through small group classes and one on one sessions. Some services are funded by Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) or the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), which require a referral.

Habitat will partner with homeowners to alleviate critical health and safety issues and complete needed home improvement projects. Habitat works with eligible, hardworking families to help them realize the dream of owning their own home. We believe building equity is an essential step in building strength, stability, and self-reliance for generations to come.

PCOA assists low-income homeowners aged 60 and over with minor home repairs, cooler startups, and accessibility modifications. Clients of the Arizona Long-Term Care System (ALTCS) are NOT eligible for home adaptations or DME's through PCOA but may receive limited assistance with minor home repair.

Pima County operates a Home Repair Program for low-income homeowners who live in unincorporated Pima County, Sahuarita, Oro Valley, and South Tucson. You must have lived in the home for at least one year and meet income eligibility requirements. Repairs include weatherization, roofing, home safety and accessibility, heating and cooling, and septic. Home cannot be within the limits of the City of Tucson.
