The Center for Community Dialogue & Training (CCDT), serving the community for over 40 years by using communication and conflict resolution skills as life skills to navigate various systems. The Center staff and volunteers help individuals and groups navigate difficult conversations, supports, and empowers Southern Arizonans and beyond through our program and services.
Services offered:
Community Forums and Community Dialogue – working with community partners to facilitate large community forums and small topic-centered groups, empowering respectful and productive discussions in which all voices are heard.
Community Mediation – Highly skilled, trained, and certified volunteer community mediators conduct confidential mediation processes to help dispute parties communicate and design their own solutions – safely, with respect, and without going to court.
Training for individuals, families, and professionals – Gain and enhance conflict management skills, conflict resolution, dialogue, facilitation, effective communication, running productive meetings, and customized training.
Strategic Planning and Consulting – Engage all organization members, the board of directors, department, coalition, or special project to set priorities, focus energy, allocate resources, identify obstacles, and determine achievable actions.

The OEOP team investigates complaints of discrimination within the City limits in employment, public accommodation, and housing. (Complaints regarding housing discrimination are referred to the Southwest Fair Housing Council with enforcement authority.) Complaints regarding discrimination by an employer, organization, institution, or business entity within Tucson's city limits with less than 100 employees can be addressed by contacting the OEOP office or filing a complaint form located on the City of Tucson's OEOP webpage.
